Mistakes or Unconscious Beliefs?

Your beliefs show in your life by the situations that have manifested. What you experience day to day in your life is based on the values you hold, conscious and unconscious.

A few years ago I was talking with a young woman about this very topic. She was abused as a child. In her adult life she continued to seek abusive relationships, or relationships that mirrored her upbringing.

beliefs There are no mistakes. I broached the subject with her, that perhaps she had chosen these relationships. I could tell immediately that she didn't believe me and that I'd stepped over a line.

Her unconscious beliefs were the driving force in the relationships that she'd chosen all through her life. She claimed that she wanted something different, that her intentions and wishes were never met.

As a child even, she could have made choices that changed her experience. We talked about choices her siblings had made (each of whom had drastically different experiences than she'd had) but ultimately it was her unconscious that kept her in abusive situations her entire life.

What are your unconscious beliefs?

What are you experiencing in your life? Do you experience joy, peace, prosperity and love? Or are you broke, scared and lonely?

You are a child of God. You have mind tools that allow you to experience, starting right now, freedom in ways that you've not experienced before.

Don't worry about finding out what your unconscious beliefs are. In fact, you can put that on a list called "None of My Business". Don't spend any energy in this soul journey worrying about anything that you don't want.

Instead, put your mind tools, your imagination, your creative thinking to work for you getting new values.

How?

Answer this question: "what do you want your life to look like"? Or, rephrased, ask yourself, "what do you want to experience day to day"?

Break your life down into smaller parts:

Live the Life you Desire!

  • Family
  • Finances
  • Social/relationships
  • Spiritual
  • Work/business
  • Physical
  • Time


Write and think about those parts of your life and the attitude you want to hold about them. Use your best creative thinking to come up with visualizations about your experiences in each.

This is about you. Don't worry about "doing it right". Practice your new beliefs with these mind tools and see if you start having a new experience in your life, without having to work to change a thing.

In my experience – making changes in this way (at the level of beliefs) creates lasting and permanent change without ever breaking a sweat!
