Growing Your Alternative Health Care Practice
Because of the growing success of my site and blog, I've been thinking more and more about how I could help others gain success on the Internet as well.
It occurs to me that, particularly because of the nature of marketing, there is a stigma against marketing for healthcare practitioners.
In fact, word-of-mouth has been the only acceptable form of advertising for most doctors and other healers (unless you really wanted to damage your reputation.)
There is a solution.
In my career on the Internet I've tried a few different web hosting companies (and found most of them guilty, by the way). I've tried blogging and building sites using various methods. Since I have a thing for persistence, looking around and trying different approaches came easily: I knew the Internet was for me, and that I would build a successful business here somehow.
Recently I wrote a short report (
which you can read here
), addressing alternative health practitioners and detailing some of my work with my web site. But I don't think I went into enough detail to show you that I understand about your particular situation.
First, it is becoming increasingly more expensive to run your practice. Office space, insurance, support staff, equipment... How can you pay for it all anymore?
Plus, most professionals in health care don't advertise (imagine if you did?) beyond a yellow pages listing. Your reputation is gold, and you've worked hard for it. You don't want to look like an ambulance chaser!
So how can you grow your practice if you don't advertise?
Second, even if you took out a full-page ad in your biggest local newspaper (I'll address geographic location in a minute) how could you get enough time to see them all? Of course, you could take on partners. Healthcare management firms all tell you to do that. But do you want the hassle of riding herd on other people? Didn't you go into business for yourself for more control over your life?
Third point: assuming that you want to use the Internet to grow your practice (of any type by the way: allopathic, chiropractic, acupuncture, reiki, pranic healing… and so on) if you had a web site, wouldn't you be talking to people all over the world? How could you target people in your area to work with?
Finally, who has the time to create a web site anyway?
That's where I come in.
I can act as a consultant or web designer for you. Or I can teach you the very simple steps to create a web site on your own, nearly guaranteeing results in a relatively short period of time (based on my own experience and the experiences of many hundreds of others).
I can offer you various levels of support. I can also offer you guaranteed success, and a track record to prove it.

And I encourage you to
read the report
at the web site as well.
